Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations & Walk Ins

Can I make a reservation?

All reservations can be conveniently made on RESY. A friendly reminder, reservations become available three weeks in advance of the desired date at 8am and we offer a two hour dining experience to ensure fairness to all guests.

How do I modify my reservation?

If you wish to modify your reservation the fastest way to do so is through your RESY account on the original reservation. If you require further assistance please reach out to our General Manager here with your requested change, with the date of your reservation in the subject line. Please note, unless confirmed with RESY or our GM, this change is not guaranteed.

I’d like to book a group reservation or inquire about a buyout event .

To book a group of 10 or more, please email our General Manager here with the requested date and guest count in the subject line, along with additional details. Note that parties of 6+ are subject to a 20% auto-gratuity. While we try to accommodate split bills, it’s not guaranteed, and groups of 10+ will receive one bill. Our tables seat up to 10 guests, so larger groups may be split across multiple tables.

Can I book a table on the patio?

We operate on a first-come, first-served basis for patio seating, as we do not take reservations for this area. Nonetheless, if you make a reservation indoors, make a note of your request on your RESY booking and we will do our best to accommodate you outside upon arrival.

Do you take walk-ins?

We happily welcome walk-ins on a first come, first serve basis, but we always recommend making a reservation on RESY if availability permits.

I am running late for my reservation.

We hold tables for 15 minutes past the reservation time. If you are running late, the best way to keep us informed is to communicate with our team through your RESY notifications over text and email. Please know this is to ensure fairness to all guests.

I’d like to cancel my reservation.

We understand plans can change unexpectedly. However, our cancellation policy requires any changes to be made at least 6 hours prior to your reservation time to avoid a fee of $20 per person for cancellations or no-shows. This policy helps us manage reservations and ensure fairness to all guests. You can cancel your reservation online through your RESY profile. If you are experiencing difficulty and are in our cancellation parameters, reach out to gm@barpoet.com to complete the cancellation.
